Okay. The concert is on Friday, and you want to be cool. Really cool, and comfortable. There are some rules about hipster fashion that have to be observed at all times:
Know what the Hipster Movement is really about. We are counter to designer labels, spa treatments, and most clothing over one hundred bucks unless they are a cool pair of Doc Martens.
There is skinny jeans, and leggings. They need to be in the wardrobe no matter what. Also glasses need to be on deck, whether you wear them or not. The wearing of T-shirts that are socially responsible or politically challenging are perfectly acceptable. Remember, you were cool before cool became socially descriptive.
The thrift store before closing provides a lot of inspiration. On Fridays, a lot of spots are doing the half off sales anyway.
Most concert venues need comfortable shoes and a hoodie because they are air conditioned and packed to standing room only.
Know when you need to dress up. We do that well, and vintage works, and so will Urban Outfitters, ASOS, Forever 21, as well as Old Navy and the Gap. Shop the clearance stuff first, just to maintain your frugal living and urban survival points.Still bored?
